Vo Dac Tho, a native of the coastal city of Vung Tau, moved to Ho Chi Minh City after graduating from high school. While working at a restaurant in District 5, Tho met and fell in love with Ho Thi Mong Tho, a gentle girl from Ben Tre. Their happiness was interrupted when the epidemic struck in 2019, leading them to return to their hometowns.

Back in their hometown, Tho and Tho discovered numerous seedling nurseries, but due to the epidemic, few visitors came to purchase trees. During this time, the couple conceived the idea of promoting their products using TikTok. Tho began creating videos about the garden, showcasing special seedlings, and eventually launched a separate TikTok Shop channel named Huyen Linh Seedling Barn (@caygionghuyenlinh).
The channel initially struggled to attract viewers, but Tho and his wife persevered. "The beginning was always challenging," Tho recalls. "Initially, we only received a handful of orders from friends and relatives who supported us by watching the live stream. Despite the low viewership, I remained committed to sharing my passion for bonsai and showcasing the nursery's offerings. As our videos gained popularity through optimization and viral reach, the number of orders steadily increased."image
However, challenges persisted. Huyen Linh seedlings encountered delivery issues and negative customer feedback due to packaging problems that damaged fresh plants during transit. Rather than faltering, the business owners opted to improve and learn from these setbacks. "These reviews help us learn and enhance our service. We consistently listen and strive to provide the best customer experience. We believe that passion and persistent effort can overcome any obstacle," the channel owner shared.
In addition to livestream sales, the Huyen Linh Seedhorse channel owners invested in content creation. "Beyond maintaining two daily livestream sessions, we produced short videos with diverse content to maintain audience interest and appeal. This approach provided our customers with more informative content and a deeper understanding of the products.For instance, alongside product launches and video tutorials on tree care, we created entertaining videos featuring product stories to offer viewers relaxation and enjoyment."Grasping the key to success was TikTok Shop's e-commerce solution. Huyen Linh Seedling Basket consistently received dozens of orders daily from around the world. "The growth of the Basket is not only a personal triumph but also a clear testament to the effectiveness of TikTok Shop's e-commerce tools for businesses. I am deeply grateful to TikTok Shop for our growth and expanded reach. The rising order count is both a business reward and a powerful incentive to continue improving our service," shared the owner.
Huyen Linh Seedling Horse is currently expanding its offerings with a new TikTok Shop channel featuring office desks and feng shui trees. Simultaneously, they are constructing additional livestream studios to enhance user interaction on the platform.
