What is the Creator Policy Quiz?

Creator Policy Quiz is a feature that aims to help you better understand our platform policies. If you have accumulated Violation Points for your content (videos and/or livestreams), you will get an opportunity to learn more about your violations and take quizzes to improve their Creator Health Rating.

• Each type of policy violation may have its own quiz. For example, the quizzes may be available for the following violations:
  • Misleading Content
  • Sensational or Shocking Content
  • False Displays of Information
  • Exaggerated Claims or Descriptions

What are the benefits of completing the Policy Quiz?

• Achieving a perfect score on each quiz will earn you 5 Creator Health Rating points.
• Each quiz will be accessible from the date the violation ticket was issued and will remain available until the last day of the following month.

Accessing the Policy Quiz

To access the Policy Quiz, please follow these steps:

1. Open the TikTok App and click on "Profile" located in the bottom left corner of the screen.
2. Tap on the Shopping Cart icon, then click on the arrow to enter TikTok Shop.
3. Scroll down the page and locate "Account Standing".
4. Tap on "Account Standing" and then click on "Take Quizzes ".

• Creators are strongly encouraged to read our policy guidelines before attempting the quizzes.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Who can take the Policy Quiz?

Creators with e-commerce permissions may receive a quiz when they receive a violation. Not all violations will include a quiz.

How many questions are in each quiz?

Each quiz will have 3 to 5 multiple choice questions (with both single-select and/or multi-select options available).

How can I earn Creator Health Rating points from the policy quiz?

Complete the quiz with full marks; you can retake it if you don’t pass initially.

What is the maximum number of points I can earn through quizzes?

There is no maximum. You can continue earning points through quizzes whenever they are available.

Do quizzes expire?

Yes. Each quiz will only be available from the date the violation ticket was issued and will expire on the last day of the following month.

Can I raise an appeal and complete the quiz at the same time?

Yes. The outcome of an appeal and the quiz do not affect each other. If you get a perfect score on a quiz, 5 points will be added to your Creator Health Rating score. If your appeal is successful, all penalties will be revoked.

My appeal application was successful and my penalty was revoked. Can I still attempt the quiz to earn a point?

Yes. You may still attempt the policy quiz and earn 5 points if you get a perfect score.
