Attention: Please note that the GMV attribution on Seller-related transactions has been changed to Content Type GMV Attributions, this means the tabulation of GMV in such scenarios is 100% based on the three main content types: Product Card, LIVE, and Video.
This change will affect numerous metrics on Data Compass. For clarity, we will be prefixing the affected metrics with the tag "[New Logic]".
Please also note that this change applies to the app version of the affected feature. For example, Product Card Performance across PC and App has also adopted the Content Type GMV Attribution.

What are Product Cards?

Product Cards are cards that display everything you need to know about a product, like its title, image, description, and price after its successfully listed on TikTok Shop.

How to View Traffic from Product Cards

  1. Visit TikTok Seller Center, click Data Compass > > Product Tags > > Product Card.
Here are two main control panels: Main Data and Access Sources.

  1. Core data: shows Viewers, Buyers, GMV , and View to Paid Rate. There is also the addition of Content Attributed GMV under the Metrics section, which is under the [New Logic].
  2. Traffic source: shows traffic volume, GMV coming from various sources. This feature allows sellers to address which channel is performing well periodically

  1. Do my products automatically qualify as Product Cards upon uploading?
Yes. As long as your product is successfully uploaded to TikTok Shop, it is qualified as a Product Card.
  1. How are revenues calculated through Product Cards?
Revenue generated through non-live and non-video channels is considered Product Card revenue.
  1. How can I improve my traffic through Product Cards?
There are many ways to give your Product Cards more exposure. You can ensure the picture is attractive, the title is easy to understand and eye-catching or simplify the description of your products. Alternatively, changing to a more attractive price point or adding vouchers is also equally effective.
