What is "false information"?
For a start, your product listings must accurately and truthfully describe your products. This means they must not contain any inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable or false- Claims about guarantee or warranty for the product
- Claims about the shipment, delivery, return and refund or customer service process for the product
- Claim about you, such as a claim that you own the relevant IP rights for the product
- Images or descriptions of the product
What are some examples of "false information"?
- A false customer review
- A false claim that a product has won industry awards or has been certified by various industry or regulatory bodies
- A false claim that a product is affiliated with other products, such as a claim that a product is part of a particular fashion or luxury brand
- A false claim that a product can cure or prevent a particular disease or alleviate symptoms of a particular illness
- "This product prevents cancer and heart disease, treats haemorrhoids, and relieves arthritis symptoms, headaches, tinnitus, etc."
- "This cosmetic product will prevent or reduce the inflammation of acne and treat blemishes."
- "This product will cure all your ailments."

An example of a misleading product listing with "false information". No verifiable evidence has been provided to support the claim that these pills can actually cure all ailments.
What happens if I breach these guidelines?
If you are found to violate these guidelines, you may have enforcement actions taken against your account.
