Restricted Products are those that require prior approval from TikTok Shop to be sold. You may be required to pass a category approval process by submitting documents such as certifications, testing reports, product or package images, and other regulatory documentation.You may be prompted to provide these when uploading products in the following categories.

Beauty and Personal Care Products

This category will require sellers to provide specific product details and documents showing the product is safe for customers and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Baby Food and Milk Formula Products

This category of products requires sellers to ensure that their product details are appropriately described and labelled.
