How to Become a TikTok Shop Creator

TikTok Shop Creators can earn income by promoting products on TikTok after receiving e-commerce permissions.
Once approved, you may be able to:

• Display products on your TikTok profile
• Promote products in TikTok videos
• Promote products during TikTok LIVE

Who can apply to be a TikTok Shop Creator?

To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

• Your TikTok account must have at least 1000 followers.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must not have any violations of the Creator Code of Conduct.
• Your TikTok account must not be a Government, Politician and Political Party Account (GPPPA) as defined in this article.
• The shoppable content on your TikTok account must comply with our TikTok Community Guidelines
• You must not have any prior record of having e-commerce permissions revoked by TikTok Shop.
• Your associated TikTok Shop account(s) must not have any platform violations.
• Your identity document must not be associated with more than 5 TikTok Shop accounts.

Note: The identity information submitted must belong to the actual owner of the creator account. Once identity verification is completed, the verified identity details cannot be changed or transferred.

How do I maintain my TikTok Shop Creator status?

To remain a TikTok Shop Creator, you must continue to meet the following requirements:

• You must maintain at least 1 Creator Health Rating point.
• You must have no violations of the Creator Code of Conduct.
• Your account must not be associated with a Government, Politician and Political Party Account as defined in this article.
• Your account must not be associated with any TikTok Shop account with any platform violation risk.
• Your account must not receive any severe violations or be engaged in illegal behaviour that has caused or may cause actual damage and adverse effects to our platform

If you no longer meet these requirements, you may lose your TikTok Shop Creator access. You may re-apply once you meet the eligibility criteria again.

How can I apply?

If you meet the requirements, you can apply from your TikTok profile:

1. Go to Creator Centre.
2. Select TikTok Shop for Creator.
3. Select Apply.

If you meet the above criteria, you may apply to be a TikTok Shop Creator on your TikTok profile page:

• Step 2: Select "TikTok Shop for Creator" and select "Apply" if you are eligible
