How to set up commission sharing with Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs)

What is the Commission Sharing feature?

Creators may partner with a Multi-Channel Network (MCN) to receive additional support for their TikTok Shop content and activities.
The Commission Sharing feature allows creators and MCNs to set up a revenue-sharing agreement through the TikTok app (refer to the sections below for detailed guidance). Under this agreement, a percentage of the creator's commission earnings from successful transactions will be shared with the MCN.
This commission-sharing arrangement compensates the MCN for the services and support they provide, which may include product samples, strategic account management, brand representation, creator education, and talent development.
By working with an MCN, creators may receive additional support to improve their content quality and grow their Short Video and LIVE e-commerce performance at a commercial scale.
For Example: If the agreed commission-sharing ratio between the MCN and creator is 10%, and the creator earns $20 in commission from a successful transaction, the MCN will receive $2, while the creator will receive $18.

How to check a revenue sharing request?

Creators can check the revenue sharing requests initiated by an agency through any of the following paths:
  1. [TikTok Shop] > [Partnerships] > [Revenue Sharing Request]
  2. [TikTok Shop] > [Notification] > [Revenue sharing request]
  3. [Inbox] > [Monetization] > [Revenue sharing request]
The revenue sharing agreement remains applicable for the full duration of the specified validity period. Any changes to the agreement terms require formal, mutual consent from both the creator and the MCN.
We strongly encourage creators to carefully review the agreement details and ensure they understand the terms before accepting the request.

How to cancel a revenue sharing arrangement with an MCN?

To request cancellation, creators may select the [Cancel Agreement] option on the revenue sharing agreement page.
Note that any termination of the agreement must be approved by the MCN before the agreement is terminated. Until the MCN approves the request, the existing revenue sharing terms will remain in effect.
