What are "Invite Only" Products?

Invite Only Products are those that you can only sell if you have been onboarded via an "invite-only" process, which requires submitting relevant required documentation through the Seller Center as follows: My Account > Account Settings > Qualification Center.

Books, Magazines and Newspapers

• Books - You may only apply to sell the following categories of books:
  • Art, Babies' Books, Biography, Calendars, Cook Books, Comics, Dictionary, Education, Entertainment, Fiction, Fitness, History, Law, Lifestyle, Literature, Medical, Parent's Books, Professional, Technology, Teens' Books, Textbooks, Toddler's Books, Travel, Self-help, Science Fiction, Sport, Social, Study and Science
• Magazines & Newspapers - You may only apply to sell the following categories of magazines & newspapers:
  • Business, Fashion, Lifestyle and Teenage

Contact Lenses

You will be required to submit the following documentation when applying to sell contact lenses.

• Announcement of Medical Device Qualification
• Result of Medical Device Classification

Fresh Flowers

You can only sell fresh flowers if you are able to fulfil orders using the "Seller Own Fleet" function.

Fresh and Frozen Food that have Logistics Constraints

• Cream. This includes but is not limited to cream used for baking, whipping cream, heavy cream, sour cream, double cream, cooking cream and light cream.
• All fresh and frozen food items. This includes but is not limited to bread, cakes and pies, eggs, frozen food, fruit, ice cream, meal kits, meat, mushroom, pastries, processed meat and seafood, tofu, vegetables, and vegetarian meat alternatives.

• Certificate of Facilities eligible for Food Safety Conditions OR
• OCOP Certificate with 3 stars and above OR
• Vietgap Certificate OR
• Commitment to the Production and Trading of Safe Agricultural, Forestry, and Aquatic Food Products OR
• HACCP Certification OR
• ISO 22000 Certification

Jewellery and Accessories

• This category includes jewellery, or accessories containing gems (such as ruby, sapphire and emerald) or precious metals (such as gold, silver, platinum and paladium).

❗ Required documentation

• Business License that indicates eligibility for trading jewellery
• Applicable certificates or testing reports:
  • Gem Identification Report
  • Jewellery Report
  • Gold Certification Report
• Pictures of product attached with certificate or report

Media Products

You may only apply to sell the following physical media

• Cassette Tapes
• CDs & DVDs
• Vinyl

Mobile SIM Cards

• This category includes any kind of mobile SIM Cards

❗ Required documentation

• Business license
• Distribution agreement with the relevant service provider
  • License for Provision of Telecommunications Services; OR
  • The 1st-Level Distribution Contract; OR
  • Authorized Distributor Agreement for Telecommunication Products and Services.

Motorcycles

You will be required to submit the following documentation when applying to sell motorcycles. When listing motorcycles, you will also be required to fill in several mandatory attributes.

Pre-Owned/Secondhand Products

Pre-Owned/Second-hand products are products that have been previously used or owned before being sold to another entity.
❗ Only account-managed sellers may apply to sell these products.
The following types of Pre-Owned Products can be sold if a seller has been onboarded by submitting required documentation to their Account Managers:

• Refurbished phones, tablets, laptops and desk computers
• Bags and accessories

Select Baby and Maternity Products

You will be required to submit the following documentation for Baby & Maternity Vitamins & Supplements

Note: The promotion and marketing of infant milk formula is prohibited on TikTok Shop. This includes but is not limited to discounts, vouchers and flash sales.

Batteries

To seller Batteries-related categories below, you will be required to enable the "Seller Own Fleet" function before applying for Category Qualifications. No additional documentation will be required.

• Automotive & Motorcycle > Auto Replacement Parts > Batteries & Accessories
• Tools & Hardware > Power Tools > Power Tool Accessories

Sexual Wellness

Sexual Wellness refers to products designed to support and enhance personal health and intimacy. These products are intended for adult use and are subject to regulatory requirements to ensure safety and compliance.
The following subcategories are now open for invite-only listing: Lubricants, condoms, and Sexual Performance Enhancer Supplements
Required documentation

1. Lubricants and condoms

• Applicable to corporate sellers
• For category qualification: eligible sellers need to submit snapshots of products sold on other e-commerce platforms
• Product certification:
  • Product Labeling with SLH (Số Lưu Hành)

2. Sexual Performance Enhancer Supplements

• Applicable to corporate sellers
• For category qualification: eligible sellers need to submit snapshots of products sold on other e-commerce platforms
• Product certification:
  • Product Labeling with DKSP (Số Đăng ký Sản phẩm)

What happens if I breach these guidelines?

If you are found to violate these guidelines, you may have enforcement actions taken against your account. You should note that repeated offenses will result in more significant penalties.
