6. Misleading Content

  • E-commerce content must not include misleading information.
  • E-commerce content must not mislead customers in any way. All content must be consistent with the actual products, and must not be misleading by statement or omission. For example, the content must not include words like "NO.1 product", "100% natural" and so on.

7. Minor Safety

The E-Commerce content must not be harmful to children under 18 years old Any content persuading children to purchase or to request their parents to purchase products are not allowed. Other contents that may have negative effects on child safety are also not allowed.

8. Livestream

Creators cannot use the video recorded in advance Please note that some additional requirements apply to live stream.For example, any instant communication with viewers and customers must be appropriate. Any promise of coupon, discount, or other types of promotion during live streaming must be true. And it's not allowed to use recorded video as live stream.

9. Weight control/management

It is not allowed to promote products related to weight control and weight loss in e-commerce content.E-commerce content should not promote an unhealthy body image or an unhealthy relationship with food.

10. Sensational and Shocking Content

E-commerce content must not include frightening images.E-commerce content must not contain bloody or gruesome imagery or graphic images that are likely to shock or scare users like crime/horror scenes.

11. Alternative ordering information

It is not allowed to contain any content that encourages customers to leave the TikTok Shop to order.E-commerce content must not include links or references to encourage customers to leave the TikTok Shop to order.
