This article teaches you what Shop Tab is and how to use it to analyze data.



















What is Shop Tab?
The Shop Tab is a one-stop center where users can look, search, and buy products in many different avenues. Product recommendations are showcased via product listings and shoppable content like livestreams, videos, and Product Cards. Furthermore, buyers can manage orders, all within a single tab.

How to View Performance on Shop Tab
- On TikTok Shop Seller Center, click on Data Compass. Visit Shop Tab, then Overview. Here you will see the main dashboard: Core Data

- Core data shows important metrics like Revenue, Orders, Revenue per Buyer, Buyers, Unique product impressions, Unique product clicks, and more.
- Hover over the ? for description of each metric. To set the time period, choose between Day, Week, Month, Custom, Last 7 Days or Last 28 Days.

- Except SG: A Store Ranking section lists down the best performing stores through a sales scoring metric.

Analyzing Traffic Sources on Shop Tab
- You can break down traffic channels in the Shop Tab to understand how they are performing individually. Select the channel and its Traffic Data will be broken down into multiple, detailed metrics. Hover over the ? sign for definitions.

- And below, there is a Traffic funnel showing the conversion process from impression to click, the click to paid. Through this chart, you will understand how a product is being perceived and if it is attractive or optimised enough for purchasing.

- For a granular look at all products across different categories, refer to the Detail section. Here you can sort products in ascending or descending order, according to categories.

- To optimise a product, click on View for a look at Product Performance in totality and rectify any problems.


Analyzing Product Traffic on Shop Tab
- You can view products at the SKU level with data generated from Shop Tab, in two scenarios:
- If you are part of the Opportunity Centre, you will see the boosted impressions your products are receiving from Upload same product, Meet Standard or Competitive Price.

- If you are not part of the Opportunity Centre, you will be asked to take part.

- Similar to the Traffic tab, you will see the list of products in ascending or descending, according to categories. But you can also further sort the list by selecting the traffic rewards.

- Clicking on View Trends brings up a chart showing traffic fluctuations based on different metrics like Product impression, Unique product clicks, Buyers, and more.
- Under each metric is a breakdown of just how participating in the Opportunity Centre helps to contribute to the overall result.

- Submit Product, Meet standard, and Competitive Price all contribute to the overall Product impression of a specific day.

- You can also check the price competitiveness of your product and make adjustments. Through Price Diagnosis, you will get insights into products' prices, how competitive they are compared to other products within the same category, performance (Products sold, Revenue, and more) plus boosted impressions of the shop at the SKU level.

- What is the Opportunity Centre?
- The Opportunity Centre is a platform where you can earn rewards in the form of boosted impressions by participating in selected activities. Unlike other data metrics that run at a T-1 timeframe, boosted impression data is generated at a T-2 timeframe on Data Compass.
